Here are nut trees that grow in Orange County, Florida:Carya floridana, scrub hickory and more information and a photo
Castanea pumila (chinkapin) and more information and photos
Carya alba (mockernut hickory) grows in the nearby counties of Volusia and Sumter, but is not recorded by the USDA Plants Database as occurring in Orange County.
Here is a link to Florida Native Plant Society's "Natives to Grow in ORANGE County" in case you are interested in other plants that are native to your area.
