I need some suggestions of plants that will grow next to a public salt water swimming pool, located in Bossier City, Louisiana

ANSWER:

Mr. Smarty Plants found the following plants that are salt tolerant and are known to grow in Bossier Parrish, Louisiana.  These should do well next to your saltwater swimming pool.

Asclepias tuberosa (butterfly milkweed)

Baccharis halimifolia (eastern baccharis)

Aralia spinosa (devil's walkingstick)

Erythrina herbacea (redcardinal)

Morella cerifera (wax myrtle)

Teucrium canadense (Canada germander)

Tripsacum dactyloides (eastern gamagrass)

Vaccinium arboreum (farkleberry)
