Habitat: Roadside, on W facing slope of barrow ditch. Three stout plants, multi-branched, cut over. Among Poaceae.
Description: Stout, rigidly erect perennial, to 2+ m tall. Stem very square, slightly contracted at nodes. Leaves linear-elliptic, sharply acute apically, w/cuneate, subsessile bases; sharply serrate, opposite. Spike compact, sessile, in open cymes, numerous. Corolla purple (not present).
