Habitat: Small colony in damp alluvial soil & full sun.
Description: Stout, rigidly erect perennial 7+ dm tall. Stem very square, slightly contracted at the nodes. Leaves linear-elliptic sharply acute apically, w/cuneate, subsessile base, sharply serrate, opposite. Spike compact, sessile, in open cymes, numerous. Corolla lilac, the tube barely exceeding the calyx.
