Habitat: Widespread, but not dense stands, on top of and west face of hill.Full sun. Variety of soils.
Description: Erect plant to 30 cm tall. Leaves are oblanceolate, 2-4 cm long, dentate; sessile above and clasping at base. Purple-pink flowers in spicate panicles. Calyx is strongly 2-lippped. Lanceolate bracts, 4-6 mm long under each flower.
