Habitat: Roadside grade along Star Cross Trail in full sun and with very rocky and stoney soil.
Description: Tufted perennial with slender, erect stems to 30 cm tall. Stem nodes earred with short hairs. Panicle 6 cm long with 2-8 branches. Stalkless spikelets 4 mm long. Lemma awn to 1.5 cm long, bent and twisted.
