Location: N side of Canyon Lake at 880 Military Dr., on Canyon Lake Island.Latitude: 0.000000
Habitat: Scarce on rocky soil, in wooded area.
Description: Tree, 7 m tall, 7 cm in dia. Leaves are shiny. Fine, rusty-red hairs cover the petioles and the primary vein on the underside of the leaves. Infloresence a cyme, 5-6 cm across. Individual flowers are .5 cm wide. Fruit (not present) blue-black and glaucous when ripe.
