Habitat: Full morning sun, caliche soil. Few & scattered among Poaceae.
Description: Erect annual, 60 cm tall from tough root. Stem simple. Leaves similar throughout, little reduced above, long petiolate--nearly length of blade. Blade 4 x 5 cm, sub-orbicular to ovate, rounded at apex, sub-cordate at base, deeply incised. Flower clusters on peduncles much shorter than petioles.
