Abstract
Gas exchange rates and osmotic potentials were measured in two Andropogon glomeratus populations with different tolerances of salt stress.CO2 uptake was decreased in both populations grown under salt stressed conditions. After salt treatment were terminated, photosynthetic capacity increased more rapidly in salt tolerant plants, likely due to the ability of these genotypes to rapidly alter their osmotic potential.Suggested Citation
