Abstract
Examines the mutualism between Yucca filamentosa and its moth pollinator in a community context near Lake Placid, Florida. The study examined two insect florivores also attracted to Yucca filamentosa, the hemipteran insect Leptoglossus phyllopus and the beetle Hymenorus densus. The moth pollinator, Tegeticula cassandra, was the most important determinant of Y. filamentosa fruit set during both of the study years. Leptoglossus phyllopus decreased Y. filamentosa fruit set in one of the two study years but H. densus did not affect fruit.Suggested Citation
