Abstract
Evaluates the effects of potting medium and short interval cyclic flooding on Ilex glabra 'Shamrock', Itea virginica 'Henry's Garnet', and Viburnum nudum 'Winterthur' grown in one gallon pots in the greenhouse. All cultivars had increased survival in fine textured calcined clay versus a pine bark/peat mix. Although plants tolerated flooding, the I. glabra and I. virginica cultivars had decreased growth in the flooding treatments.Suggested Citation
