Abstract
Compares the genetic similarity of micropropagated Echinacea purpurea plants to their parent plants. The study uses amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) analysis, a sensitive and reliable molecular marker for this type of comparison. Although most of the micropropagated regenerants were highly similar to their donors, only two regenerants were completely true-to-type.Suggested Citation
