Abstract
Reports on a 10 year study of Solidago odora var. chapmanii population dynamics in Florida scrub habitat that experiences frequent fire. Flowering was concentrated during the first 2 years after fires; repeated burns increased density and flowering. Increases in density were mostly due to resprouting and clonal spread rather than seedling recruitment.Suggested Citation
