As a service to the public, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center collects information on native plant societies, conservation groups, governmental agencies, botanical gardens, arboreta, and other plant-related organizations throughout North America. Description: The Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge is a 3500 acre wildlife refuge. The Nature Center has approximately 25 miles of hiking trails along 3 major ecosystems - western crosstimbers, prairie and river bottom forests.
